th ranked Colorado Mesa went 2-1 at the Tracy Borah Duals hosted by Westerm State. The Mavericks faced a pair of NCAA West Region foes and a Div. I opponent.

The Mavericks won eight of the ten matches including the first seven matches in the dual en route to win against Simon Fraser, a NCAA West Region foe. Five of those wins came for bonus points that included two forfeits.
Nick Swanson earned a fall over Tanner Spray at 157 pounds while
Jonathon Stelling earned a 20-3 technical fall win over Oscar Bualcqui in the dual's opening match.
Randy Boerner picked up a major decision 14-1 at 174 pounds.

Final Results)
Colorado Mesa scored a crucial dual meet win over another West Region foe in national stalwart Central Oklahoma. They won six bouts with four of them coming for bonus points.
In possibly the match of the day,
Drew Schumann scored a 3-1 win over Spencer Rutherford in a battle of NCAA National Qualifiers from a year ago. Last season, Schumann defeated Rutherford in the opening round of the regional tournament then fell to him in the third-fourth place match.

Madison Gambrell and
Marcus Haughian each scored wins by fall at 133 and 197 pounds respectively.
Jason Buhr at 157 pounds and
Daniel Salazar at 141 pounds each earned major decision victories.

Division I Air Force flexed their muscles in the win over the Mavericks.
Colorado Mesa won three of the first five matches including a pin by
Jason Buhr at 157 pounds but that was all they could muster.
Daniel Salazar earned a 5-0 decision over Anthony McHugh at 141 pounds while
Drew Schumann picked up a 4-1 decsion at 149 pounds.
Colorado Mesa will be off next week before heading to Gunnison for a showdown with arch-rival Western State on Jan. 21.
