Player of the Year
Makayla Kovac was named the RMAC Player of the Year for the second straight year. The Erie, Colo., native led the RMAC in runs (56), RBIs (59), total bases (123), walks (33) and sacrifice flies (7). She ranked second in homeruns (13), third in slugging percentage (.774), fourth in on-base percentage (.502), eighth in hits (65) and ninth in batting average (.409).
Hodgson All-Conference
Brooke Hodgson was named All-RMAC first team as a pitcher and designated player. The freshman finished second behind teammate
Makayla Kovac in RBIs with 58. Her 58 RBIs ranks 11th in Div. II. Hodgson hit .361 with 118 total bases, second most on the team. The Rio Rancho, N.M., native was the team's top pitcher finishing with a 4.91 era with 21 wins.
Pakes All-Conference
Catcher
Zoe Pakes earned second team honors for CMU. The Lake Havasu City, Ariz., native hit .357 with nine homeruns, 17 doubles and 42 RBIs.
Hit Streak Snapped
Megan Brown's hit streak ended at 24 games after she did not record a hit against Chadron State on April 25.
Offensive Leaders
CMU continues to establish itself as one of the top offensive teams in the RMAC. The Mavs lead the league in scoring with 6.89 runs per game, and are second in batting average (.343), second in on-base percentage (.408) and second in slugging percentage (.517).
