The Mavericks will repeat as RMAC Regular Season Champions if they win the same number or more games than MSU Denver on the weekend. MSUD and CMU will play two of their four games of the weekend against each other.

Megan Brown extended her hit streak to 22-games last week. Her hit streak is the longest by a Maverick since
Makayla Kovac had a 21-game hit streak during the 2014 season. Brown is hitting .306 on the year with 49 hits and 19 RBIs. She has started as the team's leadoff hitter in 45 of 49 games this season.
National Rankings
Colorado Mesa is ranked in the top-25 in Div. II in six national rankings; second in doubles per game (1.96), 11th in scoring (6.87), 14th in on-base percentage (.416), 18th in slugging percentage (.516), 20th in batting average (.340) and 20th in triples (0.36).
Makayla Kovac is ranked 16th and
Brooke Hodgson is 19th in RBIs with 51 and 50.
Series Sweeps
CMU won eight of the of the 10 RMAC series it has been this season. The team split a two-game series with CSU-Pueblo and loss both games of a two-game series with Regis.
Hit a Homer
Last weeks loss at Colorado Christian was just the second loss this season for Colorado Mesa when it hits a homerun. CMU is 19-2 this season when it hits a homerun and is 13-15 when it doesn't. The Mavs are 13-0 this season when it hits two or more homeruns.
