Makayla Kovac was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week after batting .583 (7-12) with 18 total bases, three home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored last weekend against Fort Lewis. The Erie, Colo., native leads the team in runs (49), homeruns (11), RBIs (52), total bases (107), slugging percentage (.805), walks (28), assists (110) and is a perfect 5-5 on stolen base attempts.
Hunt for the Title
Colorado Mesa is currently in second place in the RMAC standings. This weekend conference leader MSU Denver will play at Regis who is currently third in the RMAC standings. The Mavericks and Roadrunners will play two-games next weekend with the RMAC Title potentially on the line.
