Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa University women's lacrosse team scored a season-high 18 goals in an 18-9 win at Adams State Saturday (March 7).
The Mavericks enjoyed a strong advantage in shots outshooting the Grizzlies 32-19.
CMU also controlled play off the draw finishing with a 20-9 edge.
Aislinn Stace opened the game with her first of three goals for the Grizzlies.
The Mavericks responded with four straight goals and led 8-5 at half.
Aislinn Stace opened the second half like she did the first, with a goal for Adams.
CMU answered with seven straight goals.
Jenny Lange led the Mavericks with six points (four goals, two assists).
Shannon Lynch and
Olivia Porcaro each scored three goals for Mesa.
Jillian Pfeifer earned her second win of the season in goal for CMU.
Kady Herzog made six saves in relief duty for the Mavs.
CMU (2-2) will play at Regis March 14.Â
