Mavs Look to Rebound Against Black Hills, Chadron

PROTECT THE HOUSE
The Mavericks are currently riding a 47-game home winning streak that dates back to 2012. The last loss came against MSU Denver (L 40-78) on January 28. During the streak the Mavericks have captured two RMAC Tournament Championships and a NCAA South Central Region Championship. 

FOLLOWING A LOSS
Head Coach Taylor Wagner has lost six games in the regular season in his Colorado Mesa tenure. He is 5-0 in games following a loss and has won by an average margin of 16 points.

FROM DOWNTOWN
The Mavericks made a season-high 13 three-points baskets in their win over Colorado Mines. They are currently hitting on 36 percent from beyond the arc and make 7.9 per game, both tops in the RMAC.

PINK IN THE PAINT
Saturday's game against Chadron State will be the the 'Swing For Life' game. Proceeds will benefit CMU Alum Kathy Howa's Foundation that benefits Huntsmans Cancer Research.

BOARDS
Leanndra Gilbert has been the top rebounder this season for the Mavericks. If she averages eight rebounds over the remaining games, she could enter the top ten for single-season rebounds.

Colorado Mesa will make the long trip to New Mexico Highlands and Western New Mexico next Friday and Saturday.
