ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Colorado Mesa men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to St. Mary's Thursday (Feb. 26).
Jordan Lyden and
Spencer Weinberg earned an 8-2 decision at No. 1 doubles over Michael Maciel and Adam Dockery.
Weinberg also won at No. 2 singles defeating Dockery in three sets 4-6, 6-1, 6-0.
"We played some good tennis today," said head coach
Dan MacDonald. "Spencer played really well."
Andres Garcia-Rojas defeated Aldo Maldonado 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Duncan Alger fell in three sets at No. 6 singles. Alger won the first set 6-3 over Matt Banner, but dropped the next two 6-3, 6-1.
CMU (6-2) will face Dallas Baptist Friday (Feb. 27).
