RMAC TITLE WITHIN REACH
Colorado Mesa holds their own destiny when it comes to winning the RMAC Championship. If the Mavericks beat New Meico Highlands on Friday they will win at least a share of the RMAC Championship. Win Friday and Saturday, they will win the title outright for the first time in school history.

DIVISION I OPPONENT
The Mavericks and Northern Colorado will square off on Thursday in their annual dual. The Bears come into the dual with a 2-5 record having defeated Cal Poly in their opening dual of the season and Grand Canyon just two weeks ago.

BONUS POINTS
Colorado Mesa has earned numerous victories this season that have come for bonus points in their duals but none were more important then last weeks against Western State Colorado. Drew Schumann's pin at 149 pounds, James Martinez' major at 157, and Jessie Hoffschneider's major at 165 pounds proved to be extremely important in the Mavericks upset of No. 5 Western State Colorado.

BATTLE IN BROWNSON WRAPUP
The Mavericks wrestled in front of one of the largest crowds recorded in Brownson Arena history when they defeated the Mountaineers last Thursday in the Battle in Brownson. 1,983 fans came out to support the wrestlers and witnessed the dual between the two rivals.

WHAT LIES AHEAD
After this weekend, the Mavericks will get healed up and rested as the NCAA Super Region 4 Tournament will take place at the end of the month in Pueblo, Colo. with the top four wrestlers at each weight qualifying for the NCAA National Championships in St. Louis, Mo in March.
