Head coach Taylor Wagner enters his fourth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed an 89-12 record and has won more outright RMAC Championships in three seasons then all other years combined. During his tenure the Mavericks are 52-2 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.

Colorado Mesa is tops in the RMAC and fourth in Div. II in three-point field goal defense allowing just 20.8 percent to fall this season. On the other hand they are tops in the RMAC in threes per game at 8.3 which ranks 21st in the country.
RECIPE FOR A WIN
Seems simple. Score more then 70 points, shoot better and pull down more rebounds then your opponent and you win. The Mavericks are unbeaten when they accomplish those three things.
FRESH PLAY
Maverick freshman Nicole Archambeau has become a valuable asset off the bench in the first half of the season. She is averaging 6.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game thus far. She is coming off a game against UCCS where she scored 16 points and grabbed eight boards.
