Complete Game Notes vs. Mines and Colorado Christian

PROTECT THE HOUSE
The Mavericks are currently riding a 47-game home winning streak that dates back to 2012. The last loss came against MSU Denver (L 40-78) on January 28. During the streak the Mavericks have captured two RMAC Tournament Championships and a NCAA South Central Region Championship.

MAVERICK DEFENSE
Colorado Mesa's success is still predicated on their defense. They are allowing 58.9 points per game and opponents are shooting 35.7 percent from the field. They are 13-0 when teams score fewer than 70 points.

BALL POSSESSION
The Mavericks had a problem turning the ball over in the beginning of the season. They have steadily been getting better, averaging 15.6 per game. They had 29 in a game against Western New Mexico and are 6-1 when committing fewer turnovers than their opponents.

SWAT TEAM
Leanndra Gilbert and Erika Musante have combined for 49 blocks this season. That number is more than 10 teams in the RMAC.

TIEBREAKERS
Colorado Mesa currently holds the tiebreaker on UCCS. If both teams win out, UCCS would win the tiebreaker based on the RMAC point system.
