Box Score DURANGO, Colorado – Colorado Mesa allowed a pair of Texas Woman's in a span of nearly four minutes and couldn't recover in a 2-0 loss to the Pioneers at the Fort Lewis Soccer Classic at Dirks Field.
 
Pioneer Natalia Diaz scored a goal in the 26^th minute and added her second in the 30^th minute to give the Texas Woman's the advantage.
 
The Mavericks outshot the Pioneers in the game 19-11 with ten of those coming on goal. But, Colorado Mesa couldn't get one past Pioneer goalkeeper Ariana Morrison.
 
Sarah Pope took three shots for the Mavericks with all of them coming on net while Amanda Wenzel took three shots with two of them coming on goal.
 
The Mavericks will return to action next Thursday in Dallas, Texas when they take on the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
