Box Score DENVER – The Colorado Mesa women's lacrosse season came to end with an 8-5 loss to Fort Lewis in the semifinals of the RMAC Tournament Friday (May 2).

Fort Lewis opened the game with a pair of goals, but Tayler Lansdown put Colorado Mesa on the board with a goal at 16:55.

The Skyhawks answered with three straight goals before Ashley Eickhoff scored her first of two goals. FLC closed the scoring in the first half with a goal by Jessica Norby to lead 6-2.

Ashley Eickhoff, Allie Henderson and Haley Kroll all scored for the Mavericks in the second half. CMU outscored FLC 3-2 in the second half.

Mesa finished with a 9-6 edge in draw controls, but Fort Lewis held a 21-19 mark in shots.

Lauren Wells made seven saves in her final game for the Mavericks.

CMU finishes the season 8-7.
