Women's Lacrosse Falls in RMAC Opener

Box Score DURANGO, Colo. – Haley Kroll scored a team-high three goals for the Colorado Mesa women's lacrosse team, but it wasn't enough as the Mavericks lost at Fort Lewis 10-8 Sunday (April 6).
 
The Skyhawks opened the game with back-to-back goals by Abby Kvidera and Jessica Norby.
 
The two teams would take turns scoring goals until Fort Lewis scored three straight goals midway through the second half. Haley Kroll scored the final two goals of the game for CMU.
 
FLC out-shot the Mavericks 16-8 in the first half, but CMU turned the tide in the second finishing with a 17-15 edge.
 
Lauren Wells made 10 saves and gave up all 10 goals for CMU.
 
CMU falls to 5-4 overall and 0-1 in RMAC playa.
 
Colorado Mesa will play at Rockhurst April 10.
