Jessica Severinsen shared Pitcher of the Year honors with Aubree Maul of Metro State. Severinsen leads the RMAC in ERA
at 2.94. She finished the season with a 13-11 record, amassing 104 strikeouts in 143 innings pitched.
Dangerous DuoMakayla Kovac and
Jessica Severinsen become the second pair at CMU to win Player and Pitcher of the Year in the same year. Jennee West (player) and Renee Hietbrink (pitcher) achieved the feat in 2002. This year marks the fourth time that the same school has won player and pitcher of the year honors.
