Box Score BELMONT, Calif. – Colorado Mesa scored 11 first half goals en route to a 20-6 win over the Notre Dame de Namur at Koret Field. The win sets up a showdown for the Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association championship on Sunday with Dominican.
David Solomon set the pace for the Mavericks with four goals and assisted on two others. Solomon scored a pair of goals in each half with both assists coming in the first half.
Three other Mavericks, including
Shane O'Neill,
Austin Pridham, and
Dylan Duresky, all finished the game with hat tricks.
Brad Brandenburg and
Adam Borgogelli combined to make six saves in the game and allowed only six goals.
The Mavericks and Dominican will play at 1:00pm at Forest Meadows Field in San Rafael.
