Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – Colorado Mesa was outscored 8-2 in the first half and was never able to recover in a 15-6 loss to Florida Southern on Friday evening at Bryant Stadium. The Mavericks fall to 3-2 on the season and will look to even their record on their spring break trip on Sunday.
 
The Mavericks continued to struggle on faceoffs only winning 4-of-25 in the game. That led to 57 Moccasin shots to just 26 shots by Colorado Mesa.
 
Colorado Mesa had fewer turnovers than Florida Southern 19-16 but the Moccasins were able to scoop up 45 groundballs to the Mavericks 24.
 
Kade Robinson led the Mavericks with two goals on five shots on four shots on goal.
 
The Mavericks will take on Lynn University on Sunday at 10:00am to round up their spring break trip.
