LAWTON, Okla. - The Colorado Mesa men's tennis team earned a narrow 5-4 win at No. 16 Cameron Monday (March 24).
Jordan Lyden improved to 6-2 on the year after winning by retirement at No. 1 singles.
Spencer Weinberg lost the first set at No. 2 singles, 0-6, but rallied with wins in set two (7-5) and three (6-2).
Mesa also got the win at No. 3 singles after
Andres Garcia-Rojas defeated Felipe Oyarzun 6-2, 6-0.
Lyden and Weinberg teamed up for the win at No. 1 doubles (8-4), and Garcia-Rojas and
Trevor Brown won (8-4) at No. 3 doubles.
The men's tennis team will play at Dallas Baptist Tuesday (March 25).
