UNDEFEATED
Colorado Mesa is one of twos teams in the country that remains undefeated on the season. Top ranked Bentley is the other school. South Central Region foe,West Texas A&M, has one loss.
RANKINGS
The Mavericks are ranked #2 in the recent WBCA National Poll and received two first place votes. This is the third straight week CMU is ranked #2 and is the highest ranking in the program's history. 
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Colorado Mesa has won 32 consecutive home games dating back to January 28, 2012. Over 2100 fans came out to support the Mavericks over the weekend and are averaging over 750 fans a game, more than double what they see on the road.
WINNING
Senior guard Taylor Rock has an astounding college record. She is 110-11 in her collegiate career spanning her time at Otero Junior College and Colorado Mesa. Her college coach at both schools....Current Maverick Head Coach Taylor Wagner.
CLIMBING THE CHARTS
Maverick senior Sharaya Selsor continues to climb the all-time charts. She now sits in 11th place on the all-time scoring list and should enter the top ten this weekend. Selsor also entered into the top ten in assists with 268 dimes in her career. 
SCOUTING THE COWGIRLS
The Mavericks defeated New Mexico Highlands back on December 14, 81-70 in Las Vegas. The Cowgirls feature one of the best players in the RMAC in forward China Smith. Smith averages a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
Colorado Mesa defeated Western New Mexico by the narrowest of margins on December 13, 57-51. It is the only time all season the Mavericks have failed to score 60 points in a game. RaTanya Newsome leads the Mustangs, averaging 13.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
LOOKING AHEAD
Colorado Mesa will host their final regular season home game in the 2013-14 season when they host RMAC rival Western State in Brownson Arena on February 22. That night will also be the team's annual 'Breast Cancer Awareness' game, benefitting the Swing for Life Foundation.
