With MSU Denver's loss to Colorado Mines Tuesday (Nov. 5), Colorado Mesa is even closer to the RMAC Championship. If they beat Fort Lewis and Adams State this weekend they will secure at least RMAC Co-Champions. The Mavericks are in a tie with Mines atop the conference. With CMU beating the Orediggers earlier in the season, Colorado Mesa would win the tie break and become the one seed in the RMAC Tournament.
Regional Rankings
For the second week in a row, Colorado Mesa has found themselves sitting at second, just behind MSU Denver in the South Central Regional rankings. Colorado School of Mines and Regis are third and fourth respectively.

A Look at the Skyhawks
Fort Lewis comes into the match against the Mavericks following a win over New Mexico Highlands. Their victory marks only their fourth conference win of the season, putting them in the bottom third of the conference standings. Chadron State and Western State Colorado are the only two teams below the Skyhawks in the RMAC standings. CMU's straight set take down of the Skyhawks earlier this season (Oct. 14) pushed the all time record to 53-28-1 in favor of the Mavericks when the two teams match up. Colorado Mesa has won four of the last five meetings between the two teams, with their loss coming Nov. 5, 2013 in five sets.
Scouting Adams State
The Grizzlies are 6-2at home this year. Their .500 record (8-8) puts them seventh in the conference, fighting for an RMAC Tournament bid. Adams State split their matches last week with a five set loss to CSU-Pueblo (Oct. 31) and a 3-0 win over Western State Colorado. Thanks to a sweep over the Grizzlies previously this season, the Mavericks own a 25-11 advantage when the two teams meet. Colorado Mesa has won four of the last five meetings, with their last loss coming when the Grizzlies were ranked No. 25 at the time (Oct. 27, 2012).
