UNDEFEATED
Colorado Mesa is one of five teams in the country that remains undefeated on the season and are the only remaining team in the region that is undefeated. West Texas A&M has one loss.
RANKINGS
The Mavericks are ranked #4 in the WBCA National Poll this week. The #4 ranking ties the highest ranking achieved by the program. Last year, the Mavericks reached #4 on January 22 for the first time in the school's history
BUCKETS
Senior guard Sharaya Selsor ranks second in the country in scoring, averaging 24.5. Selsor has scored 20 or more in 11 of the teams 15 games played this season. She also moved into 14th place on the all-time scoring list.
WINNING
Senior guard Taylor Rock has an astounding college record. She is 104-11 in her collegiate career spanning her time at Otero Junior College and Colorado Mesa. Her college coach at both schools....Current Maverick Head Coach Taylor Wagner.
BIG MATCHUP
The Mavericks boast the second best three-point defense in the country, while the Regis Rangers have the best three-point shooting percentage in the RMAC. 
HISTORY WITH THE ROADRUNNERS
Colorado Mesa hold a 15-22 overall record with Metro State. They have won only two of the last eleven meetings with them. The lone wins came last season (73-67) and in 2009 (58-57,) both of which were in Grand Junction.
HISTORY WITH THE RANGERS
The Mavericks are 22-26 all-time against Regis and are just 6-11 since 2003. CMU is riding a two game winning streak against the Rangers including a 74-50 win in the first round of the RMAC Tournament last season.
LOOKING AHEAD
Colorado Mesa will return home for a pair of games on January 31 and February 1 against Colorado Mines and Colorado Christian. Game time will be 5:30pm both nights.
