UNDEFEATED
Colorado Mesa is one of 10 teams in the country that remains undefeated on the season. They are the only remaining team in the region that is undefeated. St. Edwards, St. Marys, and West Texas A&M all have one loss.
HIGH PERCENTAGE
Colorado Mesa has outshot their opponents and have held nine of their ten opponents under 40 percent shooting. The Mavericks are shooting nearly 46 percent from the field this season and is led by Aubry Boehme who sits at 61.4 percent, which is tops in the RMAC and 11th in the country.
HITTING THE BOARDS
The Mavericks continue to dominate on the boards this season. They have outrebounded every opponent this season and have a +15.1 margin on the season. Hannah Pollart leads the way averaging 6.9 per game.
BLOCK PARTY
Senior post Hanna Bowden has moved into fifth place on the all-time list for blocks with 44. Bowden tied a career-high with four swats against Northwestern OKlahoma earlier this season.
1,000 POINT CLUB
Senior guard Sharaya Selsor scored her 1,000th point of her Colorado Mesa career. Her milestone point came on a three-pointer from just off the top of the key. She now trails her sister Katrina by just 15 points for 16th on the all-time list.
HISTORY WITH THE COUGARS
The Mavericks hold an all-time mark of 16-6 against the Cougars since 2003. CCU dealt the Mavericks one of their two losses in 2013 but CMU defeated them in the RMAC Tournament Championship 60-47
HISTORY WITH THE OREDIGGERS
Colorado Mesa is 47-12 all-time against Colorado Mines. The Mavericks won both meetings a year ago by an average of 14 points a contest.
LOOKING AHEAD
Colorado Mesa will be at home for the first time in 2014 when they take on the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves on Thursday January 9 at 5:30pm. They will then take on the UCCS Mountain Lions on Friday at 5:30pm.
