UNDEFEATED

Colorado Mesa is one of six teams in the country that remains undefeated on the season. They are the only remaining team in the region that is undefeated. Tarleton State and West Texas A&M both have one loss.

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE

The Mavericks are currently riding a 30 game home court winning streak. The streak dates back to the 2011-12 season where CMU finished the season on a three-game home winning streak. During the streak, the Mavericks have won those 30 games by an average of 22.8 points per game.

HAVING THE LEAD

Colorado Mesa faced its largest deficit of the season against UCCS when they trailed 10-0 at the start of the game. They faced a 10 point deficit against Southwestern Oklahoma State as well in the second game of the season. The Mavericks have only led wire-to-wire in four games this season.

REBOUNDS

The Mavericks have outrebounded their opponents in 12 of 14 games this season. They tied Colorado Mines and were outrebounded by UCCS. CMU still maintains the second best rebounding margin in the country with a +12.7 margin.

EASY BASKETS

Aubry Boehme ranks first in the RMAC and sixth in the NCAA in Field Goal Percentage at 62 percent. Boehme is averaging 13.5 points per game and is second on the team in made field goals.

SMART KIDS

Seniors Taylor Rock and Sharaya Selsor each were named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team. The First Team is voted on by the RMAC SIDs and recipients must have a 3.3 GPA and have completed two semesters at their current school.

HISTORY WITH THE MOUNTAINEERS

The Mavericks are 54-25 all-time against Western State but are just 5-5 in the last ten matches. The Mavericks swept last season's two games, winning by an average of 31.5 points. 

LOOKING AHEAD

Colorado Mesa will continue their road trip when they travel to Denver for games against Regis University and Metro State University. They will play Metro State at 5:00pm on Friday then they will play Regis at 3:00pm on Saturday.
