Colorado Mesa will be on the road for the next three games. They start their road trip out with a pair of games in the state of New Mexico. On Friday, they will play New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas, N.M. then on Saturday they will head South for a game against Western New Mexico in Silver City. Her is a quick preview of both games.

Last Week for the Cowgirls: New Mexico Highlands dropped a pair of home games last weekend. On Friday night, they fell in a heartbreaker to Adams State 69-67 then on Saturday night they dropped a 71-64 contest to Fort Lewis.
RMAC Standings: The Cowgirls are in 11th place in the RMAC standings. They are four games behind Regis for the eighth and final RMAC Tournament spot with just five games left to play.
Cowgirl to Watch: Alyssa Lopez (Jr., El Paso, Texas) is what make the Cowgirls go. Lopez is the third leading scorer in the RMAC averaging just under 17 points a night. She had a season-high 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists against Adams State earlier this season.

Last Week for the Mustangs: Western New Mexico picked up a home split this past weekend. On Friday, they lost a 74-62 decision to Fort Lewis in Silver City, then on Saturday they picked up a 65-59 win over Adams State.
RMAC Standings: The Mustangs are currently in 12th place in the RMAC Standings and are five games behind the Regis Rangers for the final spot in the RMAC Tournament. Western New Mexico has only five games left to play.
Mustang to Watch: Morgan Wohltmann (Sr., Queen Creek, Ariz.) is the Mustangs threat to score inside. Wohltmann averages 13.7 points a night and grabs a little over three rebounds a contest. She had 16 points and six rebounds in their win against Adams State last weekend.
