RECORD BREAKER

Sharaya Selsor broke a 19-year old school record in the win over Southwestern Oklahoma State. Selsor poured in 39 points on 13-of-27 shooting form the floor and 8-of-11 from the charity stripe. to break the record for points in a game. Tonya Stites set the previous record in 1994 when she scored 38 against Western State.

DIMES

Christen Lopez dished out 10 assists in the Mavericks 82-68 win over Southwestern Oklahoma. It was the first time since Lisa Sprod handed out 15 assists in 1999 that a CMU player had 10 or more assists. 

THE ROCK

Senior Taylor Rock had career-highs in points and rebounds in the SWOSU Classic. She had 13 points against Southwestern Oklahoma State and 10 rebounds in the win over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Colorado Mesa is currently ranked 7th in the WBCA National Poll that was released on Tuesday 

HISTORY WITH THE RED STORM

Colorado Mesa is 1-4 all-time against Dixie State. Their lone win came in 2006 when they defeated the Storm 66-59 in Brownson Arena.

This will be the first meeting between Montana Western and Colorado Mesa.

The Mavericks will open up their RMAC season when they play host to Chadron State and Black Hills State on Friday and Saturday in Brownson Arena.
