GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa men's tennis team dropped a close 5-4 decision to Metro State Saturday (Oct. 5) in its only dual match of the season.
Jordan Lyden defeated Josh Graetz 7-5, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. Graetz got his revenge as he defeated Lyden and partner
Spencer Weinberg at No. 1 doubles 8-3.
Blake Demond posted a 6-3, 6-2 decision over Trevor Jones at No. 5 singles.
Trevor Brown earned posted wins at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles with teammate
Andres Garcia-Rojas.
This concludes the men's tennis fall season except for
Jordan Lyden who will compete at the USTA/ITA Small College National Tournament next week in Ft. Meyers, Fla.
