Colorado Mesa will face No. 3 CSU-Pueblo in Pueblo, Colo., Saturday (Nov. 2). The Mavericks dropped a 27-10 decision to Colorado Mines during Homecoming last week. The Thunderwolves enter the contest a perfect 8-0 after defeating Black Hills State 51-17 last week.
The Series
Colorado Mesa has a 6-6-1 all-time record against CSU-Pueblo and is 3-2-1 against the Thunderwolves in Pueblo. Pueblo has won the last three games between the two schools. 
Top-25
Saturday's game against CSU-Pueblo will be the third against a ranked opponent this season. Colorado Mesa is 0-2 against ranked opponents this season falling at No. 3 Montana State on Sept. 14th and at No. 21 Chadron State on Sept. 21. 
Success at Home
The loss to Mines at home was the first this season for Mesa and snapped its four game home winning streak that dated back to the 2012 season. The Mavericks previous loss at home was a 48-10 set-back to CSU-Pueblo on Oct. 27, 2012. 

Blocked
Teddy Silano blocked the extra point following Colorado Mines first touchdown. The last time Mesa blocked an extra point was against New Mexico Highlands on Sept. 29, 2012.
Throw it Around
Colorado Mesa set season-highs for completions (23) and attempts (49) against Colorado Mines. The Mavericks completed passes to eight different receivers. 
Season-Low
Colorado Mesa scored 10 points against Colorado Mesa, its fewest in an RMAC game this season, and the fewest since Adams State shut out Mesa on Nov. 10, 2012. CMU is 0-2 this season when it scores less than 20 points. 
Interceptions
Michael Brady become the third Maverick with a pair of interceptions after picking off a pair against Colorado Mines. 
CMU leads the nation in interceptions with 19, one more than Shaw. Mesa ranks first in the nation in turnovers gained (27) and eighth in turnover margin (1.5). 
Price is Right
Jordan Price ranks ninth in the nation and first in the RMAC with 0.6 interceptions per game. The Fort Worth, Texas, native ranks fifth in passes defended at 1.9 per game. 
Punting
Michael Brady ranks fourth in the RMAC and seventh in the nation in punting at 43.7 yards per game. 
Tackle Leader
Jake Edmiston leads the nation in both total tackles (15.5) and solo tackles (8.3). He has recorded 15+ tackles in each of the last four games for the Mavericks. 
Fourth Down Defense
Colorado Mesa ranks second in the RMAC and 19th in the nation in stopping team's on fourth down (.261). Western State leads the league at .200. 
Looking Ahead
Colorado Mesa will play its final road game of the regular season Nov. 9 at Western State.
