GOLDEN, Colo. – #5 Colorado Mines scored three second half goals on their way to a 3-0 over Colorado Mesa in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's soccer match at Colorado Mines Soccer Field.

th minutes and outshot the Mavericks 18-3 in the match.
The match was evenly played until halftime. Colorado Mines outshot the Mavericks just 5-2 at the half.
Colorado Mesa's best chance to score came in the first half when Leilani Weirnicki took a shot on a free kick which Oredigger goalie Jaylyn Yates made a save on.
The loss drops the Mavericks to 5-6 overall and 4-3 in the RMAC while Colorado Mines improved to 10-0-1 on the year and remain undefeated at 7-0 in the RMAC.
The Mavericks will take on nationally ranked Metro State on Sunday at Auraria Field in Denver.
