Colorado Mesa will return home after a successful trip to Chadron State and Black Hills State. The Mavericks will take on the New Mexico schools at home starting with Western New Mexico on Friday and New Mexico Highlands on Saturday. Here is a quick preview of both games.

Last Week for the Mustangs: Western New Mexico fell to Colorado Mines 70-53 and Colorado Christian 92-63 in Silver City. The Mustangs lone win of the season came against Southwest University 77-56 in their first game of the season.
Mustang to Watch: Senior guard Kassie Scott (Sr., El Paso, Texas) is the Mustangs best all-around player. Scott average's 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. She had 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in game against Texas A&M International earlier this season.

Last Week for the Cowgirls: New Mexico Highlands picked up two big home wins last weekend. The Cowgirls knocked off Colorado Christian 87-83 and then beat Colorado Mines 84-82 the following night.
Cowgirl to Watch: Alyssa Lopez (Jr., El Paso, Texas) was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week this past week. Lopez averaged 24 points a night was 5-of-8 beyond the arc. On the season, Lopez is averaging 15.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
