With the win, they improve to 9-4 overall and 6-3 in the RMAC while the Mavericks fall to 8-2-3 overall and 5-2-2 in RMAC matches.

Colorado Mines scored goals in the 21st and 23rd minutes of the match and held on for the 2-0 win.

The Mavericks best scoring chance came early in the first half when Sarah Pope took a pass and went behind the Mines defense but her shot was saved by Oredigger goalkeeper Jalyn Evans.

The Orediggers outshot the Mavericks 14-13 and held a 9-4 edge in the first half. The Mavericks could only muster four shots on goal to the Orediggers nine.
