CMU (8-6, 6-4) snapped a three-game skid defeating visiting UC-Colorado Springs 64-49 on Saturday night at Brownson Arena.
Kelsey Sigl led all players with 25 points on 8 of 12 from the floor. Katrina Selsor finished with 14 points and eight boards.
CMU held a 31-25 halftime lead and led by as many as 11 points late in the first half (29-18). UCCS closed out the half with a 7-2 run to close the gap to six points at intermission.
UCCS opened the second half with an 8-1 spurt and took their first lead (33-32) since scoring the first bucket of the game. CMU regained the lead moments later on two made free throws by Selsor (34-33) and never trailed again in the contest.
CMU shot 40 percent (19-48) from the floor and hit 8 of 18 from beyond the arc. Sigl, Selsor and Dallas Rohrbaugh combined for 6 of 10 from the 3-point line.
UCCS was led by Abby Kirchoff's 14 points and Sammi Gentile finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.
CMU will travel to rival Western State College on Friday.
