RMAC All-Conference Teams
Mesa State men's tennis dropped back-to-back matches at the RMAC Championships at Gates Tennis Center in Denver.
MSC entered the tournament as the No. 4 seed, falling to No. 5 Metro State 5-1 Friday afternoon.
Saturday in the fifth place match the ThunderWolves from CSU-Pueblo defeated MSC 5-3 ending the Mavericks season.
Western New Mexico won the team title over Montana State Billings, 5-0.
Senior Jaco Gerbrands and sophomore Andres Hernandez were named RMAC All-Conference Second Team. Gerbrands (#1 singles) and Hernandez (#3 singles) teamed as the Mavs' number one doubles team. The duo earned RMAC All-Conference Third Team honors in doubles.
MSC's doubles team of Brason Hollabaugh and Joseph Aragon were named RMAC All-Conference Third Team.
