The Mesa State Mavericks Wrestling team concluded its three match road trip yesterday afternoon. the Mavericks trounced the home Cowboys of N.M. Highlands 31-3. Mesa State improved its dual record to 5-5 and 2-2 in the RMAC.
The Mavericks won nine of the ten bouts but only got two bonus point wins. Freshman
Clay Flot (Kersey, Colo.) scored a 10-1 major decision victory over Cowboy Anthony Bermudez and Senior
Shane Miller (Gardnersville, Nev.) scored a fall over Justin Wilmes in 1:15.

Dylan Granard (Woodinville, Wash.) improved his team wins lead in a 6-1 decision over N.M. Highlands' Travis Saxon. Granard's record on the season now sits at 23-9 and is closing in on former Maverick

Mesa State will have its home opener tomorrow afternoon in Brownson Arena against the Colorado Mines Orediggers. The dual is scheduled for 3:00pm and will serve as 'Operation: White Out.' Live Results and Streaming video will be available online.
