Box Score Mesa State (8-17, 5-13) fell to CSU-P (17-9, 13-5) 81-60 in RMAC action Friday night at Brownson Arena.
MSC outscored their opponent 39-38 in the second half but could not overcome the T-Wolves 43-21 halftime advantage.
Courtney McCaig and Alaina Brennan led the way for the Mavericks with 14 points each. Brennan had a team high eight rebounds and McCaig grabbed five boards.
Hannah Breidel finished with 12 points, three rebounds and two assists.
CSU-P had four players in double digits led by Caitlyn Jewell's game high 16 points and 12 rebounds.
MSC shot 50 percent (16-32) from the field in the second half and 41 percent (24-58) in the game.
The Mavericks will wrap up their season Saturday night at home against New Mexico Highlands at 5 p.m.
