Box Score Mesa State (6-3, 3-2) fell to nationally ranked Fort Lewis College (9-0, 4-0) 67-48 Sunday night in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action.
The Skyhawks jumped out to a 21-2 lead to start the game on the way to their ninth consecutive victory and remain undefeated on the year.
FLC held a 39-23 halftime lead forcing the Mavs in to 20-first half turnovers. In the second half the Mavs pulled to within 12 points on three occasions before the Skyhawks went on a 9-0 run and a 20 point advantage.
MSC was led by Kelsey Sigl's 20 points and eight rebounds. Sigl was 7 of 10 from the floor and 6 of 8 from the foul line.
Katrina Selsor finished with 13 points, three assists and five rebounds.
MSC will travel to Adams State College for a Sunday night matchup with the Grizzlies.
