Lauren Cross' bases loaded single to center field in the bottom of the ninth inning earned the Mavericks a 7-6 victory over CSU-Pueblo, advancing the Mavs to the semi-finals at the RMAC tournament at Metro State.

                CSU-Pueblo intentionally walked Sara Jordan with runners on first and second. Jordan was 4 for 4 with 4 RBI including two homeruns. Jordan also picked up the victory pitching 5.0 shutout innings of relief for starter Jessica Rayman.

                MSC scored 4 runs in the first inning on 3 hits and 3 errors by the T-Wolves. CSUP tied the score in the top half of the third and took the lead 6-4 with 2 runs in the fourth. MSC tied the game at 6 in the fifth on a 2-run homerun by Jordan.

                The two teams combined for just 3 total hits in the next three innings. CSU-P had a leadoff single in the ninth but was shut down with 2 runners left on base. Cross's game winning single was her second hit of the day.

                MSC will face Regis University in an elimination game Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm.
