Mesa State season high 15 hits led to a 12-4 win over Augustana College Saturday afternoon at the RMAC NSIC Crossover Tournament at UC-Colorado Springs. The win improved the Mavs to 3-1 overall.

MSC scored in all but one inning, including multiple runs in four of the five innings. Lauren Cross went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBI. Six players registered multiple hits and seven players recorded an RBI.

Starter Jessica Rayman moved to 2-0 on the year allowing four runs on four hits, all coming in the bottom of the third inning.  Sara Jordan pitched the final three shutout innings, striking out three batters.

MSC wraps up the three day tournament with a doubleheader on Sunday against SW Minnesota State and St. Cloud State.
