Visiting Fort Lewis College scored two goals in the second period to shutout the Mavericks 2-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action Sunday afternoon at Walker Field. The loss dropped the Mavs to 5-2-0, 2-2-0 and FLC improves to 5-2-0, 3-0-0.
                The Skyhawks scored on goals by Lorin Anderson (Ginny Maddox-assist) and Jessie Davis (Anderson-assist) at the 50:10 and 53:39 mark respectively.
                MSC outshot FLC 12-7 and held the Skyhawks to just two shots in the first half. Three of FLC's seven shots were on goal. MSC shot 12 times, five on goal, but could not found the back of the net.
                MSC goalkeeper Julie Rasmussen (Fr., 5'0, Rio Rancho, NM) recorded one save. Freshman leading scorer Daniela Ramirez (F, 5'3, Rupert, ID) led the Mavs with four shots.
