SOUTH JORDAN, Utah— The Colorado Mesa University women's golf team recorded a second straight team score of 311 and finished in tenth place at the Wasatch Invitational, which wrapped up on Monday here at the Glenmoor Golf Course.
 
The Mavericks finished with a 36-hole team score of 622 (+46) and were paced by junior Hunter Gledhill, who finished in a tie for 13^th place at 149 (+5). 

She and McKenzie Dolph, who is playing as an individual, both carded rounds of 3-over par 75 on the par-72 course, which played at 6,067 yards on Monday.  Both Mavericks made two birdies in the second round.
 
Hayden Hawley also had two birdies in her Monday round of 79 (+7) and finished in a tied for 36^th with teammate Libby Bourassa and eight others for 36^th place at 157 (+13).  Bourassa also posted a 79 on Monday.
 
Maverick junior Allison Sanger was the next Maverick finisher.  She tied for 51^st place with a 36-hole score of 159 (+15) after recording a 6-over par 78 on Monday.  Dolph was also a part of the 6-way tie for 51^st.
 
CMU freshman Brooke Brekke rounded out the Mavs' effort, taking 66^th place at 164 (+20).  She recorded a round of 83 on Monday but had the biggest single hole highlight of the Mavs' day, recording an eagle on the par-4 second hole.
 
After competing in two tournaments spanning five days over the past nine, the Mavericks will have a brief respite for competition, before resuming the season on Oct. 5-6 at the Nick Turner Invitational at Hillcrest Golf Club in Durango, Colorado.
