Kolby Felix was named the RMAC Player of the Week after his performance against UCCS in Grand Junction.
The senior from Sun City, Ariz. batted .625 (10-for-16) with a double, two triples, and two home runs in the weekend sweep of the Mountain Lions. He scored seven runs and finished the weekend with an OPS of 1.980.
For the season, Felix is batting a team-leading .437 with 15 doubles, four triples and 12 home runs. He scored 66 runs this season which ranks No. 2 nationally.
He becomes the sixth player for Colorado Mesa to earn one of the weekly awards and he is just the second position player to be named the RMAC Player of the Week.
Felix and the Mavericks will host Regis for the final home series of the regular season this weekend. The series is set to begin on Friday evening at 6:05pm from The Diamond at Hamilton Ballpark.
