KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee announced the next round of the Bevo Francis Watch List for the 2025–26 season this last Sunday with Colorado Mesa's Ty Allred being recognized as one of the players to move on.

Allred was previously a member of the Top 100 watchlist which was released on Jan. 15 with him now advancing to the next round of 50.

The list highlights many of the nation's top student-athletes competing across NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA programs.

This season Allred is averaging 18.2 points per game while adding 7.7 rebounds per game to rank in the top five of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for both categories.

He has scored in double figures in 21 of the team's 24 games this season while also adding 10 20-point performances and two 30-point performances.

In addition, he also ranks top five in blocks for the RMAC with 28 total.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season. 2026 marks the ninth year of the Bevo Francis Award.

On March 15th, the Top 25 players will be announced. On April 4th, the finalists of this year's award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner being crowned on April 6.

Allred is joined by Cam Lowe from Black Hills State who also advanced from the Top 100 List. The two are the only players to represent the RMAC.
