HAYS, Kan. – The No. 7 Colorado Mesa women's wrestling team came away with a pair of dual meet wins at the Fort Hays State Triangular on Sunday (Jan. 18) afternoon in Gross Memorial Coliseum.
#7 Colorado Mesa 37, Sioux Falls 10
The Mavericks had their hand raised in eight of the 10 bouts on their way to a 37-10 win over regional opponent University of Sioux Falls. Colorado Mesa received three straight forfeits to start the dual before

No. 7 ranked Colorado Mesa and No. 9 ranked Fort Hays State split the 10 bouts in the dual but bonus point victories proved to be the difference as the Mavericks came away with a 24-21 nationally ranked victory over the Tigers.
Colorado Mesa won three of the first four bouts by way of pin which gave them a 19-1 lead just four matches into the dual. Those wins were highlighted by a

The Tigers won five of the remaining six bouts with the lone Maverick win coming from No. 10
