KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee announced the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List for the 2025–26 season this morning with Colorado Mesa's Ty Allred being recognized as one of the players to watch.

The list highlights many of the nation's top student-athletes competing across NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA programs.

Currently this season Allred is averaging 18.5 points per game while grabbing 9 rebounds per game as well. He is one of the RMAC's top statistical performers with him being ranked fourth in scoring and first in rebounding.

In addition, he also ranks in the top five for minutes played while sitting in the top 10 for blocks.

Allred has scored in double figures 14 this season while owning seven 20 plus scoring performances.

Allred is the first Maverick to be named to the watch list since the 2022-23 season when Trevor Baskin also was a member.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season. 2026 marks the ninth year of the Bevo Francis Award.

On February 15th, the list will be reduced to the Top 50 players. One month later on March 15th, the Top 25 players will be announced. On April 4th, the finalists of this year's award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner being crowned on April 6

In this first release of 100 players Allred was one of only two players from the RMAC to be represented with Cam Lowe from Black Hills State being the only other representative.
