PUEBLO, Colo.— Colorado Mesa University senior Teo Casados ran to a time of 20.98 seconds and a 15^th place finish in the preliminary round of the 200 meters at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday here at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl.
 
The Thornton, Colorado native was making his national championship debut and was the final Maverick to compete in the 3-day meet, which will conclude on Saturday. 
 
Casados finished sixth in his heat and did not make the finals.

His run wrapped up the Mavs' 2024-25 track & field season.
