Cameron Cartwright was named the RMAC Player of the Week after his performance in the series sweep of Colorado Christian.
Cartwright finished the weekend batting .571 (8-for-14) with nine runs scored and 13 runs driven in against the Cougars. He added a double, four home runs and had an OPS of 2.111 in the four games. In the final game of the series, he went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, three runs driven and two home runs.
Cartwright joins
Gauge Lockhart as recipients of RMAC Players of the Week this season as Lockhart was named RMAC Pitcher of the Week on March 10.
Cartwright and the Mavericks will be on the road for the next five games starting this weekend when they travel to Golden for a four-game series with Colorado School of Mines.
