Breeding named to RMAC All-Tourney Team

DENVER— Colorado Mesa University sophomore outside hitter Karsen Breeding was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's All-Tournament Team, which was announced following Saturday night's tournament championship match.

The Bozeman, Montana native recorded a career-high 17 kills in the Mavs' Tuesday night quarterfinal win over the Colorado School of Mines and then led the Mavs with nine kills in Friday's semifinal at top-seeded MSU Denver, which went on to win the tournament with another 3-0 win over UCCS on Saturday.

The Mavericks are currently 17-9 overall and will hope to receive a fifth straight at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament during Monday night's selection show, which will air on NCAA.com at 5:30 p.m. MST.  The Mavs were ranked eighth in last week's NCAA Division II South Central Regional Rankings.
