GUNNISON, Colo. – The #23 Colorado Mesa University Men's Wrestling Team would finish with much success this evening after taking home two large wins at the Tracy Borah Duals hosted by Western Colorado University.
On the day Colorado Mesa defeated both Newberry College and Simon Fraser with opponents only scoring nine points against the Mavs in those duals compared to the staggering 90 points CMU totaled.
CMU defeated Simon Fraser 55-0 in their final dual of the day which finishes at the largest margin of victory in school history and the most points the Mavs have ever totaled in a dual. This was just the second time that the Mavs have scored over 50 points in a dual ever.
CMU is now 6-0 on the season, with their victory over Simon Fraser serving as a conference win as well. They are 2-0 so far in the RMAC.
