2024-25 (As a Junior): Led the Mavericks with a 26-7 record at 285 pounds… Earned all-America honors with a seventh place finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships after going into the tournament ranked 12th… Finished third with a 3-1 record at the Super Regional… Also placed seventh at the Midwest Classic… Was a perfect 11-0 in dual meets while going 7-0 against RMAC foes in those duals, helping him earn First Team All-RMAC honors in a vote of the league’s head coaches… Won 17 matches by bonus point margins, while losing just one by fall… Recorded four pins… Started the season off with a 6-0 mark before recording eight straight wins from Dec. 15-Mar. 1 in the heart of the season… Also fared well academically, earning NWCA Scholar All-America honors and a spot on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Led the team with a 26-7 record at 285 pounds… Qualified for the NCAA Tournament, going 2-2 after taking second at the NCAA Super VI Regional Championships… Won his first ten matches after the new year… Had placed sixth at the Mines Rookie Open and third at the Younes Hospitality UNK Open… Went a perfect 10-0 in duals, including an 8-0 conference mark… Earned Second Team All-RMAC accolades… Had eight wins by fall and won 16 times by bonus point margins… Voted on to the RMAC All-Academic First Team.
2023-23 (As a Freshman): Posted a 12-10 record while splitting time in the starting lineup at 285 pounds… Placed in two tournaments, taking fourth at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open to cap his season after taking fifth while wrestling unattached at the Mines Rookie Open… Went 3-2 at the Younes Hospitality Open and 2-2 at the Midwest Classic… Recorded six pins… Was 1-3 in dual meets.
Prep: 2022 graduate of ThunderRidge High School… Was a 3-time state placer for the Casey Paul coached Grizzlies… Finished third as a senior in 2022, fifth in 2021 and fourth in 2020.
Personal: Is majoring in civil engineering… Son of Michael and Pamela Doyle… Has a younger brother— Ryan… Loves to workout, fish, camp and hangout with family. Â
