GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Changes are abound for this year's Holiday Inn Airport Thanksgiving Classic as announced on Wednesday (Nov. 23) afternoon. This year there will only be two games per day and an added game on Sunday for a total of five games instead of the customary eight games that fans have been accustomed to.
 
The men's tournament was scheduled to reduce by two games already to allow teams to get more home games and the travel teams agreed to that.
 
On the women's side, SAGU American Indian College came down with an illness that spread throughout the team which forced them to back out of this year's classic on Wednesday. With the cancellation, the tournament matchups and times have been reworked on the women's side.
 
Colorado Mesa will now play Wayne State on Saturday at 5pm and new matchup with Fort Lewis on Sunday at 5pm. Wayne State and Fort Lewis will play at their original time of 1pm on Friday November 25.

Saturday November 26
(M) Colorado Mesa vs. Simon Fraser – 3:00 PM

(W) Colorado Mesa vs. Fort Lewis – 5:00 PM
