2021 Hall of Honor: Alexis Skarda

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Former Colorado Mesa student athlete Alexis Skarda will be inducted into the Maverick Hall of Honor this weekend and will arguably go in as one of the most decorated athletes of all-time.

During her running career, Skarda was a three-time NCAA National Championship qualifier as an individual and earned All-American status during the 2008 and 2010 National Championships. She finished eighth at the 2010 NCAA National Championships which is the highest-ever finish for anyone at Colorado Mesa and still holds today.
