DENVER— The MSU Denver Roadrunners won all nine matches in a 7-0 victory over the Colorado Mesa University Women's Tennis team in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action on Friday afternoon here at the Regency Athletic Complex.
 
The Roadrunners, now 1-0 in the conference, improved to 9-9 overall with their second straight and fourth win in their last five matches while the Mavericks slipped to 4-13 overall and to 0-2 in RMAC matches.
 
The Mavericks were led by Georgia Hansen and Maike Waldburger, who each won the second sets of their No. 4 and 6 singles matches.  Hansen played against Olivia Kaiser and fell 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.  Meanwhile, Waldburger evened her match against Ainsley Winterrowd with a 7-5 second set win before Winterrowd won the match with a 10-6 in the extended tiebreaker.
 
The Mavericks will look to bounce back on Saturday morning when they play CSU-Pueblo at Pueblo East High School.
